The promise
The master privacy promise is:
Your files never leave your machine.
This promise is intentionally strong. A tool must not be published under this promise if its working files are transmitted to a remote service for processing.
This statement does not mean that opening the website produces zero network traffic. Pages may retrieve application code, libraries, fonts, models, or other application assets. Normal web requests also expose ordinary network metadata to infrastructure involved in delivering those assets. The important distinction is that the user's working files are not uploaded for processing.
Where a page still depends on third-party-hosted libraries or models, documentation and user-facing copy must not falsely imply that the entire application is network-independent.
